Dancing Days Are Here Again.

This blog was never meant to serve as a diary of my personal life, but it would appear that it's actually a pretty convenient way of keeping friends I don't talk to every day in the loop.
I'm super excited to share with anyone reading this that I'm starting an internship next week with Krochet Kids International as an Event Planner/Volunteer Coordinator. I've blogged about this awesome non-profit before, but please check out their website if you haven't heard of them yet. They are empowering the citizens of Northern Uganda to rise above poverty, all while making stylish crocheted products, and I'm just thrilled to have a small hand in helping achieve that. Look for the fall line in Nordstrom now.

So stoked to be 86-ing the 9 to 5 that I've been at for the last year.
Looking forward to directly helping the women below with my 8 hour work day instead.

Also looking forward to moving back to gorgeous Newport Beach until Christmas.
(Costa Mesa friends, let's hang out please. I've missed you.)
And once again being a bike ride from my favorite coffee spot in the world.

LOVE.

So I'm about 4 years late on seeing this Cirque du Soleil show.
I'm not even going to attempt describing it.
As the biggest Beatles fan that ever lived, hearing their music at that quality & volume alone was worth the price of admission. Add acrobats, the best costumes I have ever seen in any show period, and about a zillion amazing special effects. My jaw literally was dropped from the opening all the way through curtain call.

All you need is LOVE.

Take a Hike

I've lived in LA my whole life and only recently hiked the Griffith Park trail for the first time. Beautiful views of the city, the Hollywood sign, AND it ends at the Griffith Observatory.
(Rebel Without a Cause, anyone?)
